Twelfth player
Fan-contest “Twelfth player” is held among the fans of clubs of the Russian Football Premier League based on the matches of SOGAZ - Russian Football Championship.
The goal object of the contest is to identify the best club fans of the Premier League.
Winner is determined on the basis of official statistics of CDC (Control and disciplinary committee) fines for violations of the fans of Premier League’s clubs during SOGAZ - Russian Football Championship matches and the total number of fans attending the games taken from reports of delegates of the matches.
For the calculation, the amount of fines is divided by the number of spectators of the team who have attended the match and the figure received (in recalculation on each fan) is the main criterion for the ranking. In each following round, amount of fines and the number of spectators are added to the data of the previous round and then again divided by each other.
If match is transferred to another city instead of a monetary fine imposing, when calculating the penalty is equated to a fine of 750,000 rubles. A match without spectators is considered as one million rubles fine.
The Winner of the Fan-contest “Twelfth player” - 2010 is a football club “Tom”. In the end of the season the club from Tomsk, who’s fans turned out to be the most disciplined in the Russian Championship season of 2010, was awarded a special prize – “The Cup “Twelfth player” and a year's supply of «Pepsi».
